Samsung launches new unbreakable screen

he unbreakable screen developed by Samsung has successfully passed a rigorous military standards-based durability test with Underwriters Laboratories. The screen was dropped 26 times in 1.2m and at 1.8m without encountering any damage. He also underwent extreme temperature tests (from -32 to 71 degrees).

This new flexible OLED panel consists of an unbreakable substrate that takes the place of the usually used glass. To strengthen its strength, a plastic film is added to the surface of the screen. This screen will find its place in smartphones, but also on military mobile devices, game consoles, tablets, etc.

Even if it differs from the usual glass, the substrate retains the same characteristics of lightness, conductivity and hardness, while being much more resistant in time. Now it remains to know when such a screen will be able to arrive on the market, which could hurt the vendors of shells and other screens protections, but benefit the users of smartphones around the world. Will Samsung be fast enough to integrate this new unbreakable screen into its Note 9
