Mark Zuckerberg is now the third richest person in the world

On the ranking of billionaires by Bloomberg, Mark Zuckerberg becomes the third richest person in the world

It's a first. Now the three richest people in the world are actors in new technologies. Indeed, according to Bloomberg's index, Mark Zuckerberg has just surpassed Warren Buffet (the boss of the American conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway) on the ranking of the biggest fortunes in the world.

If Mark Zuckerberg has been considered one of the richest and most powerful people in the world  for years, this is the first time he has reached this place.

According to this list of Bloomberg, the fortune of the boss of Facebook would now be estimated at 81.6 billion million, or 373 million more than that of Warren Buffet, the businessman of 87 years.

Bloomberg, which updates its list of 500 biggest fortunes on a daily basis, estimates that when they are summed up, the fortunes made by technology total 5 trillion million. And no other sector can claim such a status.

By the time I write this article, the three richest people on the planet are (in order): Jeff Bezos (Amazon), Bill Gates (Microsoft) and Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook).

It should be noted, however, that on the ranking of billionaires by Forbes magazine, Warren Buffet is still considered the third biggest fortune. It is followed by Bernard Arnault (LVMH). And Mark Zuckerberg is still in fourth position.
