The new Nokia 9 may well impress us

HMD certainly uses the name Nokia to make talk about it but everything is not in the dressing: it offers quality smartphones. Like Samsung, it addresses both the entry and the mid-range as well as the flagships, and with its future Nokia 9 it intends to show what it is capable of in this last field.  Fingerprint reader under the screen and Snapdragon 845 would be on this smartphone's menu.

HMD offers smartphones for all portfolios but they all have one thing in common: a clean software version and the promise to have updates. If its mid-range smartphones are the most popular, HMD still knows how to make good flagships and he intends to prove it once again with his next high-end smartphone.

A fingerprint sensor under the screen
As a high-end also needs to embark on beautiful technology, HMD has chosen to look into the fingerprint reader underneath the screen (an OLED provided by LG). According to the information of WinFuture, at first the engineers of HMD had big problems because the reader showed a high latency during the unlocking but they set them by placing a thin glass overlay.

The focus would also be on the camera but we do not have very specific information on the subject. Will it be an insertion system inside the smartphone, as we have seen on the Oppo Find X? Hard to say, but at first glance it is unlikely that HMD will venture into a field of experimentation such as that.

The device will most likely be presented at the IFA, ie at the end of the summer in Berlin.
